The Thousand Islands is Ian Coristine's third bestseller, and completes a trilogy of photographic books about the world famous islands in the St. Lawrence River. The Thousand Islands is 9.5 by 6.5 inches with a padded hard cover. It contains 100 pages of color images and two detailed map spreads that use page numbers to locate every image in the book plus coordinates to find the "secret places" from history. Captions are intentionally kept brief to allow for large images, yet share little known snipets of history and lore or comments about capturing the pictures.
